This is a list of artists on Universal Music Group Nashville. Universal Music Group Nashville comprises the Nashville branches of MCA Records, Mercury Records and Capitol Records, as well as Lost Highway Records. Formerly, the company included the Nashville branch of DreamWorks Records.
Its country music label MCA Nashville Records is still in operation, and is one of the only businesses using the MCA trademark as of 2016 along with MCA Records France (imprint of Universal Music France).
MCA Nashville operates as part of the Universal Music Group Nashville and was founded in 1945 by Paul Cohen as the country music division of Decca Records in New York. In 1955 the country music division along with many of its contemporaries moved to Nashville, Tennessee. It was renamed MCA Nashville in 1973.
