Gharbia Governorate (Arabic: محافظة الغربية Muḥāfaẓat al-Gharbiyya, IPA: [elɣɑɾˈbejjɑ,-jæ], "the western governorate") is one of the governorates of Egypt. It is located in the north of the country, south of Kafr El Sheikh Governorate, and north of Monufia Governorate.
