Queenswood School is a girls-only independent school located near Hatfield, Hertfordshire, twenty miles from London. It offers admission at ages 11, 13 or 16 (for sixth form). The Good Schools Guide 2013 described Queenswood as "a girls' school to which others should aspire."

Queenswood is an excellent choice for families looking for a well-established, all-round girls' boarding school close to London. The school was founded in 1894 and occupies a large and comfortable campus with very good facilities and a rich histroy.
Our aim is to create an environment where every child is happy to learn and to provide them with a highly academic and well-rounded education, full of opportunities, so they leave our school as confident, talented individuals having acquired essential skills for life and a sustainable work ethic.
The school was founded in 1937 as Wakefield Tutorial School with a site in Crofton, Wakefield. The school expanded to include sites in Pontefract and also opened a preparatory school in Morley in 1958.
