Overview. Scientist Jimmy (Griffith Jones) is framed for murder on the eve of his elopement with rich debutante Carol (Rosalyn Boulter). He escapes to South Africa, but 4 years later suffers facial scarring in a laboratory accident. With his appearance changed, he decides to come back to England to reconnect with Carol and try and prove his innocence…
