Refia Sultan è stata una principessa ottomana, figlia del sultano Abdülmecid I e della consorte Gülcemal Kadin, e sorella del sultano Mehmed V.
Fatma Sultan è stata una principessa ottomana, figlia del sultano Abdülmecid I e della consorte Gülcemal Kadin e sorella del sultano Mehmed V, oltre che sorellastra dei sultani Murad V, Abdülhamid II e Mehmed VI.
Servetseza Kadin (1823 - 24 September 1878). Başkadin (first consort), born Princess Temruko. She had no children because Abdülmecid was not attracted to her, but he respected and entrusted her to raise his children Mehmed V Reşad, Fatma Sultan and Refia Sultan when they lost their mother.
Her adoptive mother Servetseza Kadın, also a supporter of Murad V, mysteriously died a few months later. She was widowed at her husband's death in 1881, killed by Abdülhamid II, even though he had promised Fatma to spare him.
