This map shows the major streams and rivers of Vermont and some of the larger lakes. The St. Lawrence Seaway Divide crosses Vermont. Streams in eastern and southern Vermont are part of the Atlantic Ocean Watershed. Streams in northern and western Vermont drain into the St. Lawrence Watershed.
