Necoclí is a town and municipality in Antioquia Department, Colombia. Located on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Urabá, it is part of the Urabá Antioquia sub-region. The population is predominantly Afro-Colombian. It was founded as a Spanish city called San Sebastián de Buena Vista.
Necoclí es uno de los once municipios que forman parte de la subregión de Urabá, localizado en el departamento de Antioquia, Colombia. Limita por el norte con el mar Caribe y con el municipio de San Juan de Urabá, por el este con el municipio de Arboletes, por el sur con el distrito de Turbo y por el oeste con el mar Caribe.
Necoclí è un comune della Colombia facente parte del dipartimento di Antioquia. Il centro abitato venne fondato da Alonso de Ojeda nel 1509, mentre l'istituzione del comune è del 28 novembre 1977. Confina a nord e a ovest con il Mar dei Caraibi e con i comuni di Arboletes a sud e Turbo a est.
Desde la comodidad de una hamaca que se mece entre las palmeras y de cara al cálido golfo de Urabá, uno puede perder la noción del espacio y pensar que Necoclí es una isla distante, pero la realidad es que es un trozo de paraíso bien arraigado al continente y al cual es bastante fácil llegar.
