Farah Pahlavi (Persian: فرح پهلوی, née Diba (دیبا); born 14 October 1938) is the widow of the last Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and was successively Queen and Empress (شهبانو, Shahbanu) of Iran from 1959 to 1979.

She was the patron of 24 educational, health and cultural organizations and instrumental in humanizing the Pahlavi dynasty by helping to modernize her country through land reform and the emancipation of women, such as women's suffrage, as part of the shah's White revolution (1963).
