Jeff Beal (born June 20, 1963) is an American composer of music for film, television, recordings, and the concert hall. Highly regarded as a jazz instrumentalist and versatile composer, Beal creates music that often incorporates a synthesis of improvisatory and composed elements.

Biography. Jeff Beal (b. 20 June 1963, Hayward, Calif.) is an American composer. Beal began trumpet studies in the third grade after attending a school music assembly at Castro Valley's Marshall Elementary School with his father.
