The Kanazawa College of Art (Japanese: 金沢美術工芸大学, Hepburn: Kanazawa Bijutsu Kōgei Daigaku, lit. ' Kanazawa Art and Industrial Design University '), colloquially known as Bidai or Kanabi, is a public university in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan.

Kanazawa College of Art was founded in 1946 by the Municipal Government, which had overcome a number of social difficulties and made efforts to meet the cultural needs and desires of the citizens of Kanazawa just after the war.They envisioned the foundation of an art college to inherit traditional arts and crafts, preserve and develop them in the regenerated era.
金沢美術工芸大学 （かなざわびじゅつこうげいだいがく、 英語: Kanazawa College of Art ）は、 石川県 金沢市 小立野 2丁目40番1号に本部を置く 日本 の 公立大学 。 1946年 創立、 1955年 大学設置。 大学の略称 は 金美 （カナビ）、 金沢美工 。 概要. 1946年 、当時の金沢市長 武谷甚太郎 が設置した金沢美術工芸専門学校（ 1950年 より金沢美術工芸短期大学）を母体として、 1955年 に設置された [1] 。 ほかの多くの国公立芸術大学とは異なり、音楽学部を持たない。 また、1専攻1学年あたりの学生数が15〜25人、全学生数も600〜700人程度と非常に少なく、人数的な規模の小ささは全国の美術大学でも随一である。
