Richard Harvey is a British composer and musician, born in September 1953. He started his journey in the music industry with the medieval progressive rock band Gryphon. Harvey then continued to pursue a successful solo career, composing music for films, television shows and video games.
Gryphon formed in early 1972 as a four-piece band by English musicians Graeme Taylor, Richard Harvey, Dave Oberlé, and Brian Gulland.
