29 giu 2023 · Aisha Stacey. 29 June, 2023. Prophets Ishmael and Isaac are the sons of Prophet Abraham. They, along with their father, form the link between the world’s three major monotheistic religions, Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Together these religions are often referred to as the Abrahamic faiths.
Abraham had two children, Ishmael and Isaac, who both later became prophets. Abraham's nephew is said to have been the messenger Lut ( Lot ), who was one of the other people who migrated with Abraham out of their community.
He was said to be a leader of the Israelites and spent his days leading his people in prayer and engaging in acts of worship at Masjid Al-Aqsa. Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) mentions in the Qur'an: English Translation: “Indeed, Allah chose Adam, Nuh, the family of Ibrahim, and the family of Imran above all people of their time.”
