Bonghwa County (Bonghwa-gun) is a county in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It lies inland, at the northern edge of the province, and borders Gangwon province to the north. To the east it is bounded by Yeongyang and Uljin counties, to the south by Andong, and to the west by Yeongju.

Bonghwa-gun is a county located in the northeastern part of Gyeongsangbuk-do province in South Korea. It is surrounded by Uljin-gun to the east, Yeongju-si to the west, Andong-si and Yeongyang-gun to the south, and Yeongwol-gun, Samcheok-si, and Taebaek-si in Gangwon-do to the north.
