Il British Army (Esercito britannico) è la componente terrestre delle forze armate britanniche. Nacque nel 1707 con l'unificazione dei governi e delle forze armate di Inghilterra e Scozia nel Regno Unito di Gran Bretagna, incorporando reggimenti preesistenti dei due regni e quindi posto sotto il controllo del War Office di Londra.
Le British Armed Forces comunemente note come o His Majesty's Armed Forces oltre che giuridicamente come Armed Forces of the Crown, sono le forze armate del Regno Unito. Le forze armate britanniche sono il 5° esercito più potente del mondo.
