In Greek mythology, Staphylus (/ ˈ s t æ f ɪ l ə s /; Ancient Greek: Στάφυλος, 'grape cluster') was the son of wine-god Dionysus and Ariadne. Suo padre, Ludeke Stapellage, era un ufficiale del vescovo di Osnabrück. Oenopion was the son of the Cretan princess Ariadne by Dionysus. [3] [4] He was born on Lemnos. His brothers were Thoas, Staphylus, Latromis, Euanthes, and Tauropolis. [5] By Queen Helike, Oenopion had one daughter, called either Merópē, or Aërō by Parthenius. [6]
