Bankside è un quartiere del borgo londinese di Southwark, Londra, situato sulla riva sud del Tamigi, fra il Ponte dei Frati Neri a ovest ed il London Bridge a est. Si snoda lungo la riva del Tamigi in corrispondenza di Clink Liberty e Paris Garden. L'area è molto frequentata dai turisti da alcuni anni a questa parte.

Bankside is an area of London, England, within the London Borough of Southwark. Bankside is located on the southern bank of the River Thames, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of Charing Cross, running from a little west of Blackfriars Bridge to just a short distance before London Bridge at St Mary Overie Dock.

Bankside Power Station is a decommissioned electricity generating station located on the south bank of the River Thames, in the Bankside area of the Borough of Southwark, London. It generated electricity from 1891 to 1981. It was also used as a training base for electrical and mechanical student apprenticeships from all over the country.

Bankside, loosely defined area along the south bank of the River Thames in the London borough of Southwark. Bankside is also the name of a street in the district, which lies between Blackfriars Bridge (west) and London Bridge (east) and more or less defines the extent of the area. South Bank, a culturally rich area, lies to the west of Bankside.
