3 lug 2021 · A 26-year gold-medal drought is over for Team USA at the IFSC Climbing World Championships. Twenty-year-old Natalia Grossman won the women’s bouldering competition on Wednesday in Moscow to claim the first world title for the U.S. since Robyn Erbesfield won the women’s lead competition in 1995.
Team USA won four golds, four silver, and one bronze in Sport Climbing at the Pan American Games Santiago 2023. Most importantly, the US team pocketed four Olympic quota places out of four – the last one being won by Natalia Grossman in the women’s Boulder & Lead event.
