My third ever pixel art any advice on how to do better flames. Layers, your shapes are all great but you need layers of highlights and lowlights to bring out the shapes and movement of the flames, there are some fantastic YouTube tutorials for fire and fire animation, they will help a tonne. A thing of beauty, I know, we'll never fade away. Cool!

Either way, I like it. I don't know if I'd call it pixel art per say. I'd say it looks more like low resolution 3d renders. It looks fantastic though. It's a nice aesthetic, but it feels like the shading is too smooth compared to the sharp edged pixels. I love it. I want to see more of this world.
Pixel art created specifically for or just happens to work for wallpapers. I'll be looking for other mods soon, and that'll be anyone who is willing to post enough.

16 mag 2023 · Aseprite and PyxelEdit both have tools that aid with pixel art specifically, but amazing pixel art can also be made in software not exactly designed for it, like Photoshop, Krita or even MS Paint! More than the software you pick, try and find a process for practice. Such as limiting your colors to a small (4-8 color) palette.

Aseprite is way better if for no other reason than the "pixel perfect" option, plus it makes animating a million times easier. I've been having a tough time lately with creating pixel art.
