13 feb 2024 · The Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z will be announced before July 2024, and it will have the internal zoom that we have already reported on as well as the same power zoom functionality as the RF 24-105mm f/2.8L IS USM Z. For Cinema EOS, Canon will announce successors to both the C300 and C500 series of cameras ahead of IBC in September.

5 giu 2023 · In an interview around the time of the pixel shift firmware update for the Canon EOS R5, a Canon executive claimed that Canon wasn’t even working on a follow-up to the EOS R5, which even on the surface was silly, because of course they are and have been for some time. Sometimes context gets lost in translation though.
23 apr 2024 · According to TOF, all of these lenses will run at about $2000 USD each and have 77mm filter threads. These 3 L primes are reportedly part of a new “hybrid family” of L prime lenses. What makes them geared towards hybrid shooters is unknown at press time. We can guess, but that's probably not a good idea.

30 mag 2024 · The EOS R5 Mark II has a lot of new video focused features and in some ways will go beyond the capabilities of the EOS R5 C. There are going to be a lot of additional “AI” video features added to the software in the camera. From what we have seen and been told, we don't think a follow-up to the EOS R5 C will be in the cards.
