3 mag 2022 · I summarized in this way: The Genève line was introduced in 1952 (some say '53), and, with the exception of the very low production Chronometres, sat at the top of OMEGA's model line of hand-wind watches throughout the 1950s. The cases featured elegantly chamfered lugs, and the indexes were made of gold.
29 gen 2022 · The 8800 can be thought of as a more advanced version of the 2500 (and thus the ETA 2892) whereas the 8900 is physically much bigger what with its twin mainsprings in series. It was developed from the 8500 which was a true full in house design with no predecessor AFAIK.

You’re getting +5 seconds over a week, for an average of 0.71 seconds a day. I remember your previous thread questioning the accuracy of your watch. I have the same watch, and mine is far less accurate.
27 giu 2024 · Its not a 2531, it’s a 2551.80. The middies trade around £1600-1700 even when mint as a full set which is around £400-500 less than a full size. Either the tube or crown need replacing. Or both. Reckon on £200 minimum at a guess, though it may still need a full service which would be rather more.
