Louis Edward Walters (January 26, 1894 – August 15, 1977) was a British-born American booking agent, theatrical producer and the founder of the famed Latin Quarter nightclub in New York. He was the father of journalist Barbara Walters.
Walters' father was born in London in 1898 and moved to New York City with his father and two brothers on August 28, 1909. His mother and four sisters arrived there the following year. During Walters' childhood her father managed the Latin Quarter nightclub in Boston, which was owned in partnership with E. M. Loew.
