Established in 1885, we now accept postgraduate students and mature undergraduates in all areas of study and research, offering scholarships and bursaries targeted at new and continuing students.

    Hughes Hall: Origins and Buildings. Hughes Hall was established in 1885 during the Victorian golden age of college foundations. Its grand main building, now known as the Margaret Wileman Building in honour of the college’s seventh Principal, was designed by William Fawcett and inaugurated in 1895.
