  4. The European Baccalaureate diploma is awarded to successful candidates by the Secretary-General of the European Schools on behalf of the Board of Governors. It certifies the completion of secondary studies in a European School or in a School Accredited by the Board of Governors.

  5. The European school Brussels II (Woluwe) has three cycles: Nursery, Primary and Secondary as well nine language sections: Dutch-speaking, English-speaking, Finnish, French-speaking, German-speaking, Italian, Lithuanian, Portuguese and Swedish.

  6. Category I: Pupils who have to be admitted by the European Schools. These pupils are exempt from school fees. Category II : Pupils covered by individual agreements or decisions, each entailing specific rights and obligations for the pupils concerned, particularly as regards school fees.

  7. The final of the European Schools' eloquence competition was held at EEB1 on Wednesday 17 April. Among the 6 finalists were two students from EEB2.
