Article 70 of the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (Zakon o znanstvenoj djelatnosti i visokom obrazovanju, Official Gazette, 119/2022) stipulates that the academic year starts on 1 October of the current year and ends on 30 September the following calendar year.
The information is available for the 37 countries participating in the EU's Erasmus+ programme (27 EU Member States, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Türkiye). The reference year is 2023/2024.
