Named in memory of the first winner - the beloved NYU Florence faculty, Prof. Gabriela Dragnea Horvath - the award recognizing excellence in teaching and commitment to global pedagogy in the Liberal Studies curriculum. Nominations are submitted by students, and reviewed by a selection committee.
