6 gen 2024 · The On-board Airport Navigation System (OANS) is an A380/A320/A330/A340 system. Airport Navigation Function (ANF) is the A350 equivalent system (according to Airbus "Getting to Grips with Surveillance" Edition 2). OANS uses the ARINC 816 format standard, ANF uses ARINC 816-0.
30 giu 2005 · Naah, I don´t support this. IIRC the "U" in BUFF is for "ugly" and the A380 may not be the most beautiful a/c but in my eyes it isn´t really ugly either. The name should be unique. So nothing with "Jumbo" in it ... While AIRBOSS would be nice, I think it is a little bit too similar to AIRBUS when it comes to pronounciation ...

28 mar 2005 · Welcome to a.net. The North American airports that are guaranteed to sooner or later get A380s are JFK, EWR, LAX, SFO, ORD, MIA, and YYZ has also good chances. Not to mention on the freight side SDF (UPS) and MEM (FedEx). All these airports either already have made adjustments for the A380 (SFO) or are in the process of doing so (MIA).
