18 ago 2023 · With Finnair Plus program becoming spend-based in late January 2024, you will collect Avios and reach tiers from the flight and travel extra purchases with Finnair based on the money you spend. The money you spend will be converted to tier points and Avios with a tier-specific multiplier, which is 9 for Finnair Plus Platinum members.

I was not able to select seat for free on Finair's website on a AA issued ticket, as an oneworld elite. Both the long haul and short haul required payment. However I updated.
25 lug 2019 · You mention it costs much more to spend points but you say you earn 50% points on Finnairplus vs 25% Avios under BAEC. I just checked the Finnair website and the basic R fare HEL - LHR would earn you 2000 points flying Finnair. BAEC meanwhile you only earn 284 Avios for the same R Finnair flight.

I'm looking to start grinding a status at one of the major hotel chains instead, and funnily enough I think it would actually be a pretty good value for any chain to get my business. So far I've tried:

I have booked 32J (economy comfort) on A350 HEL-BKK and wonder if I should change this to the seat with extra legroom on exit row (51J). It will be my first time with finnair economy so I don’t know what the seats are like.

Hey folks, I'm currently One World Emerald (QR plat) but will drop to OW Sapphire (QR gold) by the time we take the flight in September. My significant other holds no OW status. What OW benefits may I expect on Finnair's 'Business Light' fare? 1) Luggage - self, SO. 2) Seat selection - self, SO.
29 set 2023 · Posts: 55. I would suggest a cash gate upgrade option. I did this once when I was booked on AA marketed (thus AA stock), AY operated, and there is no way to upgrade in advance. Sure, it is a few hundred dollars, but it worth it for me and I used by AA credit card so at least I got some loyalty points for the purchase.
