You need to leave the app open in the background and Bluetooth switched on and phone switched on. Type unclear but treated as T1. The T1 diagnosis came after 15 years misdiagnosed as T2.

I only very very rarely get the ‘try again in 10 minutes’ message, and then most often when my BG is rapidly changing direction and the sensor gets a bit freaked out and wants to check itself. I’ve been using Libre off and on since 2014, and used them pretty regularly for a couple of years.

I am self funding and just can’t afford this! I have looked at Trustpilot and Abbot have a poor reputation.

When the line has been flat for a while, they seem to generally be almost the same. The standard accuracy of all glucose meters, both CGMs and finger prick is only 15%.
25 mag 2023 · The Libre app allows you to add data such as carbs eaten and insulin taken, as well as your own specific note; whereas the Dexcom app doesn't do this at all. The reports from the Dexcom One app are pretty limited; I can't look back at yesterday's BG behaviour on the Dexcom One app.
6 lug 2023 · If your sensors are not lasting 14 days you should phone libre for a replscement. So, if your sensor fails on day 10, you get a 14 day replacement, and that way will soon build up a small buffer/ reserve. Best to phone abbot and ensure replacement on way nefore removing old sensor if it is anyway still working.

No, the Omnipod personal diabetes manager (which is in fact an adapted phone, though it doesn’t function as a phone) does all the reading. But of course most of us still need to carry a phone. Oct 2020 HbA1c 48 Cholesterol 4.8 Swapped Novorapid for Fiasp Jun 2021 HbA1c 52 Cholesterol 4.5 despite LCHF way of eating Feb 2022 HbA1c 51 Cholesterol up a bit to 4.9 Refused statins at this time. Aug 2022 HbA1c 45 Cholesterol down to 4.2 despite high saturated fat intake and no statins.
