By unneeded I mean the packages that are installed as a dependency of another packages, in which case you later remove the package, so the dependencies remain installed while you don't need them. This happens after installing/removing a lot of packages over a long period ...

4 mag 2010 · Sorry I wasn't clear. Pacman does not remove my configurations that the application creates. I installed wine once and had a hell of a time removing all the entries it made in pcmanfm. I was hoping for something other than deleting them by hand. I don't know much about Shaman though. I'm running OB, so I don't want to drag in any qt deps.

2 ago 2014 · [SOLVED] pacman aborts at error: failed to synchronize all databases I did an update (-Syu) this morning. After lunch, my maschine froze and I had to do a cold restart.
12 apr 2018 · This creates a subshell (the parentheses) within which two echo "y" commands are run. The output of that entire subshell is sent to pacman's stdin, so pacman now gets two "y"s in a row which will accomplish what you were trying to do (though I'm making no statement here on whether that is worth doing).
6 ago 2020 · Running pacman with --disable-sandbox mitigated the issue. Thanks! The work around solution, while not having recompile your kernel with landlock support. 9 dic 2012 · Download a fresh copy of the master package list from the server (s) defined in pacman.conf (5). This should typically be used each time you use. --sysupgrade or -u. Passing two --refresh or -y flags will force a refresh of all package lists even if they appear to be up to date. Arch + dwm • Mercurial repos • Surfraw.
