I was travelling to Manchester and booked my tickets on trainline.com I received confirmation and went to the station to pick them up on the day of travel. I couldn't find a ticket machine to put my credit card into so one of the station members of staff found one that wasn't broken or being repaired.

16 mar 2020 · Trainline may well be bust within a few short weeks as their sales will now begin to dwindle very quickly. It is therefore highly unlikely they will be refunding the cost of a non-refundable ticket. To be clear, the train companies will NOT allow Trainline to refund advance tickets. Trainline have no say in the matter.
27 giu 2023 · Charged twice (2 x £91.80) on the Trainline! Today I had to book a last minute trip for tomorrow. To my horror I have been charged twice on the Trainline after I tried booking an off peak return that should have cost £91.80. But the page timed out and I had to start again.

31 ago 2022 · Trainline Refunds - lack of. I booked 2 journeys through Trainline both of which were disrupted by delay or lack of seating, in 1 case by 10.5 hours, and in both cases Trainline has said it is not responsible and referred me to the train operator. In both cases again the train operators have referred me back to Trainline. Catch 22!
21 set 2006 · yes, I received a refund from trainline. I stupidly managed to book a return ticket the wrong way round (ie. leaving from the station I wanted to arrive in and vice versa!) I thought it was all ok tbh. I called the customer service and was refunded onto my card pretty quickly.
25 nov 2022 · Yes a railcard bought via Trainline can be used to purchase discounted tickets from any retailer of National Rail tickets, including at ticket offices. Official MSE Forum Team member. Flying into Birminham tomorrow afternoon and returning on Sunday afternoon going to Leicester. Is it cheaper to buy an off peak return (£21.30) from the train,ine app or just get a ticket from the machine in the station? Thanks.
