Westminster Hall and Burying Ground is a graveyard and former church located at 519 West Fayette Street (at North Greene Street) in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is currently part of the grounds of the University of Maryland's School of Law.

Westminster Hall is a large medieval great hall which is part of the Palace of Westminster in London, England. It was erected in 1097 for William II ("William Rufus"), at which point it was the largest hall in Europe. [1] .
As the resting place of nearly 300 veterans of the American Revolution and War of 1812, many of whom were civic and political leaders, as well as literary legend Edgar Allan Poe, Westminster Burying Ground is a historical and cultural treasure of local, state, and national significance.
Westminster Burial Ground, originally Westminster Presbyterian cemetery, was establisted in 1786. In 1852, the church was constructed on brick piers above the graves. The Burying Ground is the gravesite of Edgar Allan Poe and others. Today, the venue is used for weddings and private events!

Located at the southeast corner of Fayette and Greene Streets and opened in 1786 by the congregation of the First Presbyterian Church, this one-acre burial ground was originally established at a distance from downtown Baltimore because of fears of contagion related to the burials.
