  1. Musical Shapes is the third album by American singer Carlene Carter. The only song to make the Billboard country singles chart was "Baby Ride Easy," (written by Richard Dobson) a duet with Dave Edmunds of the British rock band Rockpile.

  2. The only official Rockpile album, Seconds of Pleasure, came out in October 1980, a few months after the album they completed backing Carlene Carter, which was aptly titled Musical Shapes.   4. 20 gen 2010 · Just pulled this disc out tonight for first time in a long time----It's basically Rockpile with Carlene on vocals. Listening to the Demon cd (2fer) with Musical Shapes and Blue Nun--my fav is Musical Shapes by a mile. "Baby Ride Easy" duet with Dave Edmunds is very nice.

  6. 10 feb 2007 · Both "Musical Shapes" and "Blue Nun" feature Carter in power pop mode, tinged with a hint of country, and showcase the musical genius of Lowe and Dave Edmunds. What a treat to find these albums, both long out of print, compiled on one CD.
