The New Palace (German: Neues Palais) is a palace situated on the western side of the Sanssouci park in Potsdam, Germany. The building was begun in 1763, after the end of the Seven Years' War , under King Friedrich II ( Frederick the Great ) and was completed in 1769.

Das Neue Palais ist ein Schloss an der Westseite des Parks Sanssouci in Potsdam. Der Bau wurde 1763 nach Beendigung des Siebenjährigen Krieges unter Friedrich dem Großen begonnen und 1769 fertiggestellt. Es gilt als letzte bedeutende Schlossanlage des Barock in Preußen und als eines der Hauptwerke des Friderizianischen Rokokos.
New Palace – Germany’s largest baroque palace. The New Palace was commissioned by King Frederick in the first half of the 1750s. The building plans were drawn up by Büring and Manger on the basis of sketches by King Frederick. Originally, the palace was to be built on the southern axis of Sanssouci Palace on the Havel.
The New Palace is the last royal residence Frederick the Great would have built in his park. It was a demonstration of the Prussian state’s undiminished power and wealth following the deprivations of the Seven Years’ War (1756–63).
Twenty years following his creation of Sanssouci, Frederick built the New Palace ( Neues Palais) in the western part of the park. This far larger palace was in direct contrast to the relaxed ethos behind Sanssouci, and displayed Frederick's power and strength to the world, in the Baroque style.

Il Neues Palais (in tedesco Palazzo Nuovo) è un castello che si trova nella parte occidentale del parco di Sanssouci a Potsdam. La costruzione fu iniziata nel 1763, dopo il termine della guerra dei sette anni, sotto Federico II di Prussia e terminata già nel 1769.
