Print. Share. Ahmed Qurei, born in Abu Dis in 1938, was a member of the Palestinian National Council (PNC) and a member of the PLO ’s Executive Committee (EC) until May 2018. In 2003, Qurei served as acting prime minister following Mahmoud Abbas ’s resignation from that position.
