Gregorio XI, nato Pierre Roger de Beaufort ( Rosiers-d'Égletons, 9 maggio 1330 – Roma, 27 marzo 1378 ), è stato il 201º papa della Chiesa cattolica dal 1370 alla morte. Fu l'ultimo dei papi di Avignone, poiché nel 1377 riportò a Roma la sede papale .
