Religione. Cattolicesimo. Eric V "Klipping" ( 1249 – 22 novembre 1286) fu Re di Danimarca dal 1259 al 1286 . Figlio di Cristoforo I, fino al 1264 governò sotto gli auspici della madre, la competente Regina Margherita Sambiria.
Cristoforo (Kristoffer) sposò Margherita Sambiria di Kassuben ed ebbe tre figli: Matilde (morta nel 1311), sposata ad Alberto III, Margravio di Brandeburgo. Margherita (morta nel 1306), sposata al Conte Giovanni II di Holstein-Kiel. Re Eric V di Danimarca. Ascendenza. Onorificenze. Gran Maestro dell'Ordine dell'Elefante.
Biografia. Nicola era il secondo figlio di Giovanni III di Werle. Il fratello maggiore, John era morto nel 1341, pertanto quando il padre si ammalò, nel 1350, egli venne associato al governo della signoria di Werle-Goldberg che resse insieme al padre fino alla morte di questo nel 1352 e quindi da solo fino alla sua morte..
