Princess Augusta of Bavaria, Duchess of Leuchtenberg ( German: Augusta Amalia Ludovika Georgia von Bayern) (21 June 1788 in Munich – 13 May 1851 in Strasbourg) was the second child and eldest daughter of Maximilian I Joseph of Bavaria and Princess Augusta Wilhelmina of Hesse-Darmstadt.
Amélia de Leuchtenberg (nome de batismo francês: Amélie Auguste Eugénie Napoléone de Beauharnais; Milão, 31 de julho de 1812 – Lisboa, 26 de janeiro de 1873 ), foi uma princesa franco-bávara da Casa de Beauharnais, segunda esposa do Imperador Pedro I e Imperatriz Consorte do Brasil de 1829 até 1831.
Maria Amelia nacque il 1º dicembre 1831 a Parigi, in Francia [1] · [2], qualche mese dopo l'abdicazione di suo padre, l'imperatore Pietro I del Brasile, e la sua installazione in Europa con sua moglie, Amelia di Leuchtenberg.
Born on July 31, 1812, in Milan; died on January 26, 1873, in Lisbon; daughter of Amalie Auguste (1788–1851) and Eugène de Beauharnais, duchess and duke of Leuchtenburg; became second wife of Dom Pedro I, emperor of Brazil (r. 1822–1831), on October 17, 1829; children: Maria Amelia Augusta (1831–1853), princess of Brazil.
