11 ago 2023 · Rima Elizabeth Horton or Rima Horton is the wife of the late actor, Alan Rickman who is known for portraying Hans Gruber in the 1988 film Die Hard and Severus Snape in the Harry Potter franchise. Horton and Rickman were together for nearly 50 years until the passing of the latter.
Horton met aspiring actor Alan Rickman in 1965, when they both found themselves in an amateur theatre group at Chelsea College of Arts he was attending. She was 18 and he was 19. They were married in a private ceremony in New York City in 2012. Their marriage was announced publicly three years afterwards, in 2015.
Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman was born on 21 February 1946 in the Acton district of London, to housewife Margaret Doreen Rose (née Bartlett) and factory worker, house painter and decorator, and former Second World War aircraft fitter Bernard William Rickman.
