Urho Kaleva Kekkonen ( Pielavesi, 3 settembre 1900 – Helsinki, 31 agosto 1986) è stato un politico e altista finlandese . Primo ministro dal 1950 al 1953 e dal 1954 al 1956, è stato l'ottavo Presidente della Finlandia dal 1956 al 1982; è il presidente con il più lungo periodo in carica nella storia della Finlandia.
Urho Kaleva Kekkonen (3 September 1900 – 31 August 1986), often referred to by his initials UKK, was a Finnish politician who served as the eighth and longest-serving president of Finland from 1956 to 1982. He also served as prime minister (1950–1953, 1954–1956), and held various other cabinet positions.
Urho Kaleva Kekkonen (3. syyskuuta 1900 Pielavesi – 31. elokuuta 1986 Helsinki) oli kahdeksas Suomen tasavallan presidentti ja suomalainen poliitikko. Hän oli tasavallan istuva presidentti yhtäjaksoisesti vuodesta 1956 alkuvuoteen 1982, yli 25 vuoden ajan. Viimeinen presidenttikausi jäi kesken sairauden takia.
Urho Kaleva Kekkonen was a Finnish prime minister (1950–53, 1954–56) and president (1956–81), noted for his Soviet-oriented neutrality. A northern lumberman’s son, Kekkonen studied at the University of Helsinki, receiving bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in civil law in 1928 and 1936, respectively.
