Henry Edward Cubitt, 2nd Baron Ashcombe CB TD (14 March 1867 – 27 October 1947), was a British politician and peer, the son of George Cubitt, 1st Baron Ashcombe, and his wife Laura Joyce. He is also the great-grandfather of Queen Camilla.

Fu creato nel 1892 per il politico conservatore George Cubitt, figlio dell'architetto Thomas Cubitt, che fu continuamente eletto alle elezioni per un periodo di oltre 32 anni. [1] . A Lord Ashcombe successe suo figlio, il secondo barone, anch'egli deputato conservatore ed anche lord luogotenente del Surrey.
Biografia. Figlio di Roland Cubitt, III barone Ashcombe, e di Sonia Rosemary Keppel, fu zio e padrino della futura regina Camilla. Dopo aver studiato a Eton, prestò servizio nella Royal Air Force durante la seconda guerra mondiale. [1] . Fu presidente dell'impresa edile di famiglia Holland, Hannen and Cubitts. [1] .

Picketts Hole around 1906. In 1901 Henry Cubitt was promoted Major and took immense pride in raising and commanding a new regiment of the Surrey Imperial Yeomanry. A rifle range was set up on Ranmore Common at Pickett’s Hole. In July 1901 the first training camp took place at Denbies, with a muster of 200 men.
