Harewood House e’ una splendida dimora poco fuori Leeds di proprieta’ del cugino diretto di Elisabetta di Inghilterra. Gli interni sono magnifici con mobilio Chippendale originale e quadrerie pregiatissime. Casa ancora abitata dagli eredi ai piani alti. Il giardino e’ meraviglioso.

Designed by architects John Carr and Robert Adam , it was built, between 1759 and 1771, for Edwin Lascelles, 1st Baron Harewood , a wealthy West Indian plantation and slave owner .
