MASH (titolo originale MASH, A Novel About Three Army Doctors) è un romanzo umoristico scritto nel 1968 da Richard Hooker, pseudonimo di H. Richard Hornberger e Wilfred Charles Heinz, ambientato in un ospedale da campo americano durante la guerra di Corea (l'acronimo MASH sta per Mobile Army Surgical Hospital).
Richard Hooker wrote MASH: A Novel About Three Army Doctors (1968), based on his experiences as a surgeon at the 8055th MASH in South Korea. He published several other novels based on that group. A total of 15 M*A*S*H novels were published between 1968 and 1977, some co-authored by William E. Butterworth .

MASH: The Tale of Three Army Doctors is about three talented, and irreverent, Army Surgeons serving in the Korean War. At times they spend days on duty, catching sleep here and there when they are too tired to stand anymore, working to save the lives of wounded soldiers.
