  4. On Saturday 6th July 200 Bedford College alumni and former colleagues gathered at Regent’s University London as part of celebrations marking 175 years since the founding of Bedford College. Alumni also joined from around the world via a live stream.

  7. 30 set 2019 · 170 years ago this month, Bedford College was opened in central London, becoming the first higher education college for women of its kind in the country. It was the brainchild of Elizabeth Jesser Reid, who said it had been her dream since childhood to found a college for women.
