Augusta Dorotea di Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (Wolfenbüttel, 2 ottobre 1749 – Bad Gandersheim, 10 marzo 1810) fu una principessa discendente dalla casata dei Guelfi, del ramo di Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel ed una badessa del libero e laicizzato convento imperiale dell'odierna Bad Gandersheim
Augusta Dorotea sopravvisse al marito 35 anni, e visse nel castello di Augustenburg, oggi non più esistente, che fu sua residenza vedovile, e dove morì nel 1751. Durante la sua vedovanza, diede vita alla collezione di bambole Mon Plaisir , le cui bambole rappresentano la società dell'epoca, secondo lo stile dei gabinetti delle curiosità , tipici dell' età barocca .
Auguste Dorothea married on 7 August 1684 in Wolfenbüttel to Count Anton Günther II of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen. He was elevated to Imperial Prince in 1697.
