    The 1994 Formula One season was the 45th season of Formula One. It commenced on March 27th and ended on November 13th after sixteen races. The season was one of the most tragic and most controversial in Formula One's history. The Drivers Champion was Michael Schumacher, of Benetton, his first title. Williams took the Constructors Championship.

    The season was marred by a series of bad crashes at the start, which culminated in the deaths of Simtek's Roland Ratzenberger, and three-time World Champion Ayrton Senna at the San Marino Grand Prix.
