The programming language Python was conceived in the late 1980s, and its implementation was started in December 1989 by Guido van Rossum at CWI in the Netherlands as a successor to ABC capable of exception handling and interfacing with the Amoeba operating system.

Januar 1956 in Haarlem , Niederlande ) ist ein niederländischer Softwareentwickler, der als Autor der Programmiersprache Python bekannt wurde, deren Entwicklung er bis zu seiner, aus eigener Initiative veranlassten, Emeritierung im Juli 2018 als wohlwollender Diktator auf Lebenszeit leitete.
Python was invented in the late 1980s by Guido van Rossum at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in the Netherlands as a successor to the ABC programming language, which was inspired by SETL, capable of exception handling and interfacing with the Amoeba operating system.
Guido van Rossum ( Den Haag, [1] 31 januari 1956) is een Nederlandse informaticus. Hij ontwierp in 1989 de programmeertaal Python. [1] Hij was in het begin van de jaren 80 verbonden aan het Mathematisch Centrum in Amsterdam, en maakte daar deel uit van het team dat ABC bouwde.
