Millfield School is a remarkable place. From its foundation in 1935, with six princes brought from India, Millfield is today one of the leading UK independent schools for boys and girls, aged 2-18 years.
Rollo John Oliver Meyer (15 March 1905 – 9 March 1991) was an English educationalist who founded Millfield School in 1935 and Millfield Preparatory School in 1946. He was also an all-round sportsman who played cricket at first-class level in both England and in India.

However, class sizes are small, with an average of just 11 pupils. Founded in 1935, Millfield is a diverse community and it was also one of the first co-educational schools in the country.
