Micki Meuser (bürgerlicher Name: Hans Georg Meuser) ist ein deutscher Filmkomponist, Musikproduzent und Bassist. Meuser lebt in Berlin und ist Komponist zahlreicher Filmmusiken für Film und Fernsehen, außerdem Produzent einiger bekannter deutscher Künstler.
Hans-Georg " Micki " Meuser (also spelled Mickey; born in Alsdorf, Germany) is a German bass player, studio musician and music producer for bands such as Die Ärzte, Ideal, Silly, Ina Deter, Lemonbabies, among others. In 1974, he played the electric bass guitar in bands like Out and the Alsdorf Big Band.
The Name was suggested to Micki Meuser by Alex Londner (Aachen, Germany), possibly in view of Germany being a nuclear battlefield after the NATO Double-Track Decision. Vorsitzender der Deutschen Filmkomponistenunion DEFKOM, im Vorstand des DKV und im Aufsichtsrat der GEMA.
Ideal performed 27 sold-out concerts during their 1981/1982 tour through German-speaking countries. By their final concert on the tour, they had received another gold record, this time for "Der Ernst des Lebens." In the fall of 1982, Ideal produced their third album, "Bi Nuu", under the direction of Micki Meuser.
