Cölln è un quartiere storico di Berlino, compreso nel quartiere di Mitte.
Cölln (German:) was the twin city of Old Berlin from the 13th century to the 18th century. Cölln was located on the Fisher Island section of Spree Island, opposite Altberlin on the western bank of the River Spree, until the cities were merged by Frederick I of Prussia to form Berlin in 1710.

Dall'unione dei due insediamenti commerciali Cölln e Berlino, nell'attuale quartiere Mitte, fino al 1400 si sviluppò una città doppia con 8.500 abitanti, 1.100 abitazioni e tre municipi. Il primo si trovava all'angolo nord-ovest dell'attuale Municipio di Berlino.
The Palace was in the first 200 years a fortress (“Zwing Cölln”) and later a palace in the style of the renaissance, situated at Berlin- Cölln in an edge-corner of the city, close to the bridge across the river Spree, controlling the main merchants-way from France to Poland.
