Gediminas, italianizzato in Gedimino [1] (in bielorusso Гедымін?, Hiedymin; 1275 circa – Vilnius, 1341), fu granduca di Lituania dal 1316 fino alla sua morte. Fu uno dei personaggi più significativi della storia medievale lituana.
Gediminas was the Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1316 to 1341, who founded the Gediminids dynasty and the capital Vilnius. He allied with the Tatars against the Teutonic Order and sought baptism from the Pope.
